Instructions
- Prep the fruit:
Wash and dry all the fruit. Place 1 pound quartered strawberries, 2 cups blueberries, 2 cups halved grapes, 2 cups pineapple chunks, 3 sliced kiwis, and 1 diced mango in a large bowl.
- Make the dressing:
In a small bowl, whisk 3 tablespoons honey, 2 tablespoons lime juice, 1 teaspoon lime zest, and 1 tablespoon chopped mint until the honey dissolves.
- Toss and serve:
Pour the dressing over the fruit and toss gently. Serve the fruit salad right away, or chill for up to 2 hours.
Tips
Choose firm, ripe fruit so the salad stays fresh instead of mushy. Add bananas, apples, or pears right before serving, since they brown quickly. Use maple syrup instead of honey for a vegan fruit salad.
Storage
Store fruit salad covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. The fruit releases juice over time, so drain it or stir it in before serving.
Serving suggestions
Serve fruit salad for brunch, baby showers, Easter, or the Fourth of July, or spoon it over Greek yogurt or pancakes.
