Instructions

  1. Broth:

    Add the following base ingredients to a large pot: - 3 Liters water (or chicken broth) - 4 Tablespoons Cajun seasoning - 1 Head of garlic (halved) - 1 Large onion (quartered into 4 pieces) - 2 Whole lemons (juice squeezed and halves dropped in) Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes to develop the flavor base.

  2. Potatoes & Sausage:

    Add the following to the boiling broth: - 500 Grams baby potatoes (whole) - 300 Grams smoked sausage (thickly sliced) Cook for 10-15 minutes until the potatoes are fork-tender.

  3. Corn & Crab:

    Drop in the next batch of ingredients: - 3 Whole sweet corns (each cut into 2-3 pieces) - 500 Grams crab legs Continue to boil for exactly 5 minutes.

  4. Shrimp & Mussels:

    Add the final seafood items: - 500 Grams large shrimp (shell-on) - 500 Grams fresh mussels (cleaned) Cover the pot and cook for 3-4 minutes until shrimp turn pink and mussels open. Discard any unopened mussels.

  5. Garlic Butter Sauce:

    In a separate saucepan, prepare the sauce using: - 150 Grams butter - 6 Cloves of garlic (minced) - 1 Tablespoon Cajun seasoning - 1 Teaspoon chili powder - Juice of 0.5 lemon - 1 Handful fresh parsley (chopped) Melt the butter and sauté the garlic for 1 minute. Stir in the Cajun seasoning, chili powder, and lemon juice. Remove from heat and mix in the chopped parsley.

  6. Serve:

    - Drain all the boiled seafood and vegetables using a large colander. - Spread them directly over a paper-covered table. - Drizzle generously with the warm garlic butter sauce and serve immediately.

Tips

Storage
